One Raffles Quay received a Merit Award in the inaugural Design Engineering and Safety Excellence Award for successfully addressing the many technical and safety challenges in the construction, given that its North Tower sits directly above the North-South MRT Line.
One Raffles Quay (ORQ) was awarded the prestigious Prix d’Excellence in the ‘Office’ category by The International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI). Considered to be the ‘Oscars’ within the real-estate industry, the award recognises ORQ for embodying excellence in all aspects of development including construction, leasing, facilities management, marketing strategy and contribution to the local community and environment.
ISO 41001 is an international standard for facilities management introduced in 2018.
ISO 41001, the international facilities management system standard helps to increase awareness and support the development, implementation and maintenance of effective facilities management regimes in all sectors of industry and commerce worldwide.
One Raffles Quay was awarded the Safety and Health Award Recognition for Projects (SHARP) Award. This award recognises projects or worksites that have good safety and health performance and workplace safety and health management (WSH) systems. This includes large-scale projects that mobilise significant manpower and have shown their ability to manage WSH on a project-level.
The well health-safety rating for facility operations is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all facility types, focused on operational policies, maintenance protocols, emergency plans and stakeholder education to address a post-covid-19 environment now and broader health and safety-related issues into the future.
One Raffles Quay (ORQ) was awarded the Building & Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Award, in recognition for its best practices in environmental design and construction, and the adoption of green building technologies.
The building incorporates many environmentally-friendly aspects in its construction, design and daily operations. Its low-emissivity glass minimises heat load and thermal transfer. On top of that, its energy-efficient air-conditioning system and lighting contribute to energy savings of 17%. Other features include daylighting in the underground link way to the MRT station and main entrance lobbies, energy-saving lifts and escalators, motion detectors for toilet lights, fully automatic and unmanned Electronic Parking System, Parking Guidance System and more. ORQ tenants also played an active role in reducing their office carbon footprint by recycling wastes such as light tubes.
ORQ won accolades for their achievements towards environmental sustainability under the Building and Construction Authority’s Green Mark awards.
One Raffles Quay was conferred PUB Water Efficient Building (Silver) certificate for the efforts. The Water Efficient Building certification was introduced in March 2013 to recognise water users who adopt water efficiency management systems and are exemplary performers in water efficiency.
